Indian Kashmiris hope for Western tourists
A record number of tourists visited Indian administered Kashmir this summer, although most of them were domestic pilgrims.
Tour operators are still hoping American and European tourists will arrive, and give the industry a much-needed boost.
Most Western countries declared travelling to Kashmir unsafe soon after armed militancy broke out in the region in 1989.
