Floods in in north east India have left over two million people displaced
The worst floods to hit north-eastern Indian state of Assam since 1998 have left more than 100 people dead and nearly 2m displaced.
Local residents say that if the government had taken effective measures to strengthen the embankments of the state's main river, the Brahmaputra, the extent of the destruction would have been far less.
