Eighteen people were killed when a passenger bus crashed into a truck in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.
The accident took place in the Lakahooti area when the bus collided with a truck carrying people returning from a funeral early on Thursday.
India has the world's highest road toll, with more than 110,000 people killed every year in accidents.
Most are blamed on reckless driving, poorly maintained roads and ageing vehicles.
