China hit by worst growth figures in three years

China, the second largest economy in the world, is experiencing its worst slowdown for three years.

Growth in the second quarter of this year was 7.6 per cent, down from 8.1 per cent in the previous three months.

Falling exports to Europe and weak domestic demand in China are being blamed.

The BBC's correspondent Damian Grammaticas reports from the city of Tianjin.
