China's Xi Jinping urges economic integration at Apec

The formal part of the Apec summit in Beijing has ended but the US and Chinese presidents have been holding private talks.
Speaking at the gathering of leaders from Asia-Pacific nations, the Chinese President, Xi Jinping said that amid global economic uncertainty the countries of the Asia-Pacific region must speed up free trade talks.
His speech is unlikely to please the United States because President Obama is backing his own trade pact - one that cuts out China.
