Missing plane: 'Highly unlikely' debris would be found

Australian prime minister Tony Abbott has said the search for the Malaysia Airlines plane that disappeared on a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing 52 days ago is to enter a new phase.

He said it was now "highly unlikely" any debris would be found on the surface of the Indian Ocean and the underwater search would be intensified over a larger area.
