The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have paid their respects to New Zealand's war dead as their royal tour continues.

They laid a wreath in the town of Blenheim to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War.

Catherine and William also unveiled a portrait of the Queen, as Nicholas Witchell reports.
