In pictures: Hunt for missing Malaysia plane widens

The search for a missing Malaysian Airlines plane has entered a fifth day, with operations now covering both Malaysia's east and west coasts.

Confusion continues to reign about the aircraft's flight path, after it vanished over the South China Sea en route from Malaysia to China.

Malaysian authorities are no closer to explaining what happened to the 239 people on board flight MH370.

Relatives of those missing have become increasingly angered by the lack of information about the plane's fate.
