Afghanistan: 25 years on from Russian withdrawal

The Taliban has marked the 25th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet forces from Afghanistan by calling on Afghans to drive out US troops.

In a statement, the Taliban said the Soviets "destroyed" Afghanistan and the country should learn the lessons of its past.

Karen Allen reports from Kabul on how things have changed there over the last quarter of a century.
