Karzai: 'Bagram prison is a Taliban-making factory'

13 February 2014 Last updated at 10:21 GMT

President Karzai says Afghanistan's high security Bagram detention centre is a "Taliban-making factory", where innocent people are "turned against their own country, against their own government".

Sixty-five detainees have been released from the detention centre in a move condemned by the US as "deeply regrettable".

Kabul, which took over control of Bagram last year, insists there is not enough evidence against the detainees.
