Typhoon Haiyan: UK sending six aid planes

The UK is to send six more aid planes to help the people of the Philippines recover from the damage caused by Typhoon Haiyan.

The pledge came during a visit by the the International Development Secretary, Justine Greening, to the areas worst affected.

Four cities will also be given a total of £5m, taking the total amount of UK government aid to £55m.
