Beckham on his goals in China

Help

David Beckham has arrived in China in his new role as global ambassador for Chinese football.

He was invited by the Chinese FA to try to revive the battered reputation of the sport in China - massive match fixing scandals, dozens banned or jailed, and top international players not lasting even one season, have all tarnished it.

He evaded a question from a journalist on how much he was being paid and focused on his desire to help change the game in China.
