Pakistan authorities tackle violence ahead of elections
Political and religious leaders in Pakistan have condemned what appears to be a rising tide of intolerance and sectarian violence in the country.
Minority groups, civilians and military personnel have all been targeted by a variety of extremists.
The authorities have increased help for Christian families in the city of Lahore, after their homes were attacked by a rampaging mob.
