Bangladesh witness on violent clashes
Demonstrators in Bangladesh protesting against the death sentence on an Islamist party leader have clashed with police for a third day running.
An anonymous witness at the rally said police opened fire and used tear gas on the thousands of protesters gathered.
"They were firing on everyone and they threw grenades as well," she said.
"For two hours they were continuously shooting," she added.
Police reported three deaths, but she said she believed there would be more casualties.
