Taliban continue to target schools
Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani schoolgirl shot by the Taliban for campaigning for girls education, is continuing to make good progress with her rehabilitation in the UK.
Many Pakistani school children are defying the Taliban every day by attending classes in areas where schools are being bombed.
The BBC's Orla Guerin has been to one of the worst-affected areas, near militant strongholds in the north-west, where more than 750 schools have been damaged or destroyed in recent years.
