Taiwan's bid to boost fitness and reduce obesity
A healthy-living campaign aimed at tackling Taiwan's growing weight problem has been partially successful.
Government figures show that more than 44% of Taiwan's adults are overweight, and so are a quarter of the children.
For two years, the Taiwanese government has encouraged people to exercise more and eat healthily.
More than a million Taiwanese have lost 2.2m kg on an ambitious nationwide weight-loss programme.
Cindy Sui reports from Taipei.
