Illegal copies of Zero Dark Thirty popular in Pakistan

The Oscar-nominated film Zero Dark Thirty, about the covert operation that killed Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan, opens in the UK next Friday.

In Pakistan, despite the obvious interest of spectators, film distributors have chosen not to screen Zero Dark Thirty on the big screen because of the fear that it might lead to a confrontation with the country's censorship authorities.

Instead, illegal copies on DVD are proving to be very popular with audiences.
