Mona Lisa replica to go on show in Australia

Help

A copy of Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa, believed to have been painted at the beginning of the last century, is to go on display at Australia's National Library.

The work, which is a perfect replica, is thought to have been painted by the artist Mortimer Menpes between 1900 and 1909, along with dozens of other masterpieces as part of a 38-piece collection.

Duncan Kennedy reports from Sydney.
