Dance off: Japan's senior cheerleaders

Eight teams of dancers have faced off in Japan's annual senior cheerleading competition in Yokohama.

Ninety women took part in the event, with the average age of competitors 62. The oldest participant was 75.

The Japan Senior Cheer Association launched the contest four years ago. It is open to teams of women aged 49 and above.
