Pakistan's Imran Khan leads anti-drone protest convoy

Help

Thousands of Pakistanis, led by the cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan, are taking part in a protest march from the capital Islamabad to tribal areas near the Afghan border, to demonstrate against US drone strikes.

Mr Khan wants to visit the region where drone attacks have long targeted militants.

The protest has been criticised by both the Taliban and Washington.

Orla Guerin reports from Islamabad.
