Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, says he hopes for a new Chinese approach to Tibet when new leaders are appointed in Beijing.
The Tibetan exile movement meets at its headquarters in Dharamsala in India to discuss its future strategy, amid mounting anxiety at the number of Tibetans setting themselves on fire in protest at China's continued control.
