Could Matsu become a gambling resort?

Help

A group of Taiwanese islands is looking to China for its economic security.

The islands, known as Matsu, lie just off the coast of the Chinese mainland.

They were once an important Taiwanese defensive outpost against communist Chinese troops. Now though, they could become a gaming resort, attracting millions of gamblers from the former Cold War rival.

Cindy Sui reports.
