Katz: 'Handover to Afghan forces unaffected'
Nato's International Security Assistance Force has confirmed that it is scaling back combined operations with Afghan security forces following a dramatic rise in insider attacks.
Only large operations will now be conducted jointly, with joint patrols evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Last month, the US announced it would stop training some parts of the Afghan security forces.
Brig Gen Gunter Katz is the Nato spokesman in Kabul.
He told the BBC that the timeline for handover to Afghan forces would not be affected.
