Revisiting Sri Lanka's final battlefield
It is just over three years since the Sri Lankan army decisively crushed the Tamil Tiger militants, ending a 26-year civil war.
Hundreds of thousands of people were left displaced, and parts of the island were devastated.
The BBC's Charles Haviland has been given access to the area of Putumattalan which hosted the final days of fighting.
