Afghan security forces thwart 'major attack' on Kabul
The Afghan interiror ministry says the country's security forces have managed to thwart a "major attack" on Kabul.
Five men were arrested and three vehicles packed with explosive devices were confiscated on Thursday morning in a derelict building outside the capital.
The Home Office says the attackers were members of the extremist Haqqani network.
