Couple trapped in village pavilion rescued from China floods
A couple in the village of Fangshan, southwest of Beijing, were caught up in floods on Saturday, 21 July as they tried to salvage some possessions from their already submerged home.
Unexpected mountain torrents swept them away and they were left clinging to the village's pavillion for five hours until they could be rescued.
