Kabul attacks: Troops end Taliban hotel siege
After 12 hours of fighting near the Afghan capital Kabul, Afghan forces say they have killed the last of a group of heavily-armed Taliban insurgents who attacked Spozhmai Hotel in the Lake Qargha late on Thursday.
Four hotel guards, four civilians and five insurgents died in the attack.
Afghan forces led the operation against the gunmen, with help from international forces, as Quentin Somerville reports.
