Help

A pregnant British woman accused of trying to smuggle 63 kilos of heroin from Pakistan to the UK has told the BBC she did not know what was in her bags.

Khadija Shah, from Birmingham, appeared in court in Rawalpindi, together with her daughter and son, aged four and five.

The charity Reprieve said it was worried about her health and that of her children, who had contracted Measles while in custody.

If convicted Khadija Shah could face the death penalty.
