Bangladesh turns away boats carrying Burmese refugees

Clashes between Buddhist and Muslim communities in Burma over the last week have left at least 21 people dead and hundreds of homes burnt down.

But boats packed with Muslim refugees trying to reach Bangladesh have not been allowed to land in the country.
