Sri Lanka parade in Colombo marks war anniversary
Sri Lanka is marking the three-year anniversary of the end of its 26-year civil war with a large military parade in the capital, Colombo.
The event commemorates soldiers who fought against Tamil Tiger rebels, or the LTTE.
The parade comes as the government is reportedly set to free Sarath Fonseka, the man who led the army to victory.
The BBC's Charles Haviland reports.
