Hundreds of dogs saved from death in China
Activists in China have saved more than 500 dogs from being killed for food.
Campaingers intercepted a truck carrying the animals to a market in southwest China and a businessman eventually paid $9000 for their release.
The rescue effort was triggered after a social network message went viral on the internet.
