Human Rights Watch: Kachin people still face 'serious abuses'
Despite moves towards greater democracy, there are continuing allegations of "serious abuses" against the Kachin people, one of the ethnic groups who live on Burma's eastern border.
The campaigning group Human Rights Watch has urged the international community not to become complacent about the situation.
Journalists are not allowed into the Kachin-held areas, so Sue Lloyd-Roberts and cameraman, Tony Jollife, had to enter the area illegally.
