The funeral of Tonga's late king, George Tupou V, has taken place in Nuku'alofa, with thousands of mourners lining the streets.

The monarch's flag-draped coffin was escorted to the royal tomb by pallbearers dressed in black, with straw skirts around their waists.

King Tupou died in a hospital in Hong Kong on 18 March, aged 63.
