Philippines flood clean-up begins as death toll passes 650

Soldiers and volunteers are still searching for 800 people reported missing on the Philippines Mindanao island, as survivors begin to rebuild their homes and lives after floods triggered by Tropical Storm Washi.

The number of people killed has risen to 650 with reports that in some places entire villages were swept away.
