There have been fierce clashes between militia and international peacekeepers in the capital of Central African Republic.

At least five people are reported to have been killed, including a local Red Cross worker who was shot dead.

The clashes erupted in a Muslim neighbourhood, where some residents accuse European Union forces of shooting dead a man late on Tuesday.
