US-Africa Summit: How the US and Africa are forging spiritual links

US President Barack Obama will meet African heads of state later on Wednesday at a summit in Washington.

Trade, strengthening democracy and boosting security are on the agenda. But ties between the continent and the US go much deeper than trade and diplomacy.

One Anglican community in Washington DC has joined a breakaway movement that now has closer links to the church in Nigeria.
