World Breastfeeding Week is being marked, with the aim of encouraging breastfeeding and improving the health of babies around the globe.

The UN says that about 800,000 lives could be saved every year among children under five, if all 0-23 month olds were optimally breastfed. Unicef research states that 36% of children in sub-Saharan Africa benefit from exclusive breastfeeding up until six months, compared with 38% in the world as a whole.

Here is the story - in 15 seconds.
