South Sudan truce offer 'genuine' - Vice President

The offer of a truce between government forces and rebels is "genuine", the country's vice president has said.

Visiting a military hospital with both injured soldiers and civilians, James Wani Igga said that rebel leader Riek Machar had put obstacles in the path of peace by insisting upon negotiations around the ceasefire.
