Dozens of world leaders and former leaders have started arriving in South Africa ready to attend the national memorial service for Nelson Mandela in Soweto on Tuesday.

Both President Obama and the Cuban leader Raul Castro will be among those taking part.

David Cameron and former prime ministers Sir John Major, Tony Blair, and Gordon Brown are also attending.

Meanwhile, Mr Mandela's daughter Makaziwe has told the BBC about the 'wonderful' final hours her father spent surrounded by his family.
