UN: Action needed on Central African Republic 'chaos'

The UN deputy secretary-general has said that a peacekeeping operation will be needed in the Central African Republic.

Jan Eliasson urged the Security Council and the international community to support the African Union-led peace operation.

The Central African Republic has been in a state of chaos since rebels seized power in March, ousting President Francois Bozize.
