Arrests over illegal gold mining in Ghana

A crackdown on illegal gold mining involving foreign workers in Ghana has resulted in arrests.
More than 200 Chinese and other West Africans were arrested at several mine locations across the country, with some being deported.
Local artisanal mining communities blame the government for not regulating the sector.
