French military convoy leaves Mali

A large convoy of troops and equipment is travelling from Mali to Ivory Coast, as French forces start to withdraw from the west African country.

France sent around 4,000 troops to Mali in January to help the government there deal with an insurgency by Islamist militants and separatist Tuareg rebels.
