South Africa's Jacob Zuma to give State of Nation speech
South Africa's President Jacob Zuma is due to deliver his annual State of the Nation address at the opening of parliament in Cape Town.
Thursday's address comes at a crucial time. Investor confidence has been shaken by industrial unrest, and elections will be held next year.
Mr Zuma has already secured a second term as leader o f his ANC party, but his government faces criticism for failing to implement key policies.
