Ozwald Boateng giving back to Africa
The African Development Bank has proposed floating the continent's first infrastructure bonds to member nations.
It aims to raise up to $22bn (£14bn) for investments in much-needed projects like ports, railways, roads and energy.
It is a project that is attracting interest from outside the continent too, with some Africans in the diaspora wanting to get in on the action.
One of those is Ozwald Boateng, the world-famous British fashion designer, whose parents are from Ghana.
The BBC's Savahna Nightingale went to meet him.
