South Africa's Zahara's wants to hand out guitars

South Africa's singer and poet Zahara has a dream - to give away guitars to children across the continent.

"I wanna bring hope. You know, for me, this is the only thing that I had - my guitar," she told BBC Africa.

Zahara started her own musical training playing keyboards but soon fell in love with a guitar that belonged to her sister.

That was the beginning of a career that would lead her to record the best selling album in the history of African music, Loliwe, in 2011.
