Libyan ex-spy chief Abdullah al-Senussi 'lands in helicopter'

Help

Deposed Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi's intelligence chief is being held in Tripoli after being deported from Mauritania.

Pictures on social media appeared to show Abdullah al-Senussi stepping down from a helicopter.

Libya has promised a fair trial for Mr Senussi, who fled Libya after last year's uprising, and is accused of crimes allegedly committed during Colonel Gaddafi's rule.

Rana Jawad reports from Tripoli.
