Marikana miner workers rally against Lonmin
Negotiations between mining company Lonmin, trade unions and non-unionised workers are resuming at the Marikana platinum mine today, and workers are holding a rally to support their demands.
They have now been on strike for almost four weeks.
Workers at the mine currently earn 475 dollars per month and they say they want just under 1,500 dollars.
34 miners were killed on August 16, in clashes with police.
