African Dream: South Africa's Desmond Mabuza
As part of the BBC's African Dream series, Desmond Mabuza explains how he gave up a career in civil engineering to set up two high end restaurants in Johannesburg, called Signature and Wall Street.
In a country where the fine dining restaurant business is largely dominated by foreign nationals and white South Africans, Mr Mabuza is one of the very few black South Africans to own a stake in the industry.
African Dream is broadcast on the BBC Network Africa programme every Monday morning, and on BBC World News throughout the day on Fridays
