Thousands flee Mali after military coup
Thousands of refugees are leaving the embattled West African country of Mali following a military coup.
The coup's leader today called for peace talks with rebels in the north of the country - who have joined the fighting following the overthrow of the government.
Many of the well-armed rebels have returned to Mali from Libya, where they were loyal to Colonel Gadaffi.
From neighbouring Niger, Andrew Harding reports.
