Route of fear: Ships take up arms against Somali pirates
As Somali piracy grows as a threat for vessels sailing in the Gulf of Aden, an increasing number of ships are using armed security teams to protect themselves.
The BBC's Frank Gardner reports from a merchant ship sailing from the port of Muscat towards the Red Sea port of Suez, on the eight-day voyage that sailors call "the route of fear".
